    Spec files and building RPMs

How does the Project automate the spec files and rpmbuilds required to package up Fedora? Up to now I've been making spec files by hand for the packages my developers ask for with non standard build parameters. This is getting tedious and I'd like to automate it.

The MUCH better way to me seems to be to download the SRPM and edit the spec file: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...install-a-srpm

But what's a good link to researching the process used by the buildmeisters to manage hundreds of RPMs?

    Thanks -w

Not sure exactly if I understand correctly what are you asking. There are templates spec files for common types of applications: https://pagure.io/rpmdevtools/tree/master, and if package is not being submitted to Fedora for inclusion, it is possible to use some build software like travis ci to automatically generate some basic package upon new version release.

Are you talking about the Fedora project?
I think every single RPM spec is created manually and they are built via the Koji infrastructure.

Thanks, all - "Koji" was the magic word I was looking for.... and pagure.io is the place for all things Koji....
